We consider our daily challenge is to drive every FM partnership to success by sharing goals and values; having openness and trust; ensuring regular communication and feedback; and being accountable!

To achieve this, we align ECGFS with the corporate strategy of our client. Accept more risk potentially with advance investment – and GO THE EXTRA MILE.

We also provide every client with price certainty along with technical excellence and innovation, all with a team approach and the aim of sustainable, mutual benefit.

  • Stephen Hawthorne Managing Director

Stephen, one of the original founders of the organisation with co-Directors Brian and Danny, has a technical background in Electrical Engineering, before diversifying into Sales and Management. It’s this platform which Stephen alleges prepared him in undertaking the role as M.D. in a business he describes as the University of Life. Day to day activities centre around Communication, both internally and externally, where the concept of being able to forge relationships from the Boiler room to the Boardroom is noted as Stephens Key Deliverable.

ECGFS has grown exponentially since its inception in 1994 to now employ 250 staff with an annual turnover in excess of £23million and a deserved reputation for excellence.

Past Chairman of the HVCA in Scotland he is currently Secretary to The BIFM Committee in Scotland.

His true passion in life apart from his wife and two kids is Celtic Football Club, whom he has travelled the world supporting, although it must be stipulated that the Company has hospitality at both sides of the great Glasgow Footballing divide…
