The glass facade Spectrum Building is a highly visible landmark at the gateway of Bristol, situated at the end of the M32 leading directly in to the City Centre.

Following an intense tendering process, ECG Facilities Services were awarded an initial three year contract – which we have since successfully retained.
Services provided are fully inclusive of Mechanical, Electrical and Air conditioning maintenance at this iconic Bristol landmark.
During the summer of 2011, ECG approached the client to suggest and identify ways of improving energy efficiency.
These improvements have been achieved through the introduction of new LED lighting throughout each floor, car park LED lighting complete with motion sensors, and adjustments which have been made to the air conditioning units that have also resulted in improved comfort conditions for building users.
Furthermore, our organisation managed the installation of 2 new low energy chillers.
The contract is fully supported by a team of locally-based Multi-Disciplined mobile engineers, operating from our Bristol Regional Office.
