OVERVIEW

Following a competitive tendering process involving a number of our competitors, ECG Facilities Services were very pleased to be awarded the contract for the provision of HVAC Maintenance on behalf of Matalan in late 2018 for 3 considerable regions within the UK – North, Central and Scotland. As a result, ECG is responsible for managing and delivering maintenance services to all of Matalan’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning plant within their comprehensive portfolio of stores throughout the UK, undertaking operations to a considerable amount of plant both in the ‘back of house’ areas and on the sales floor. ECG deliver the HVAC maintenance services in-house via our organisation’s dedicated Mobile M&E Maintenance Engineering Team, managed locally at all locations by our strategically placed branch network of Regional Offices spanning the length and breadth of the country – giving each store a locally based team of engineers. Due to the nature of the environment where these works are undertaken, our engineers must display professionalism, courteousness and, of top priority, strong health and safety consideration at all times whilst working around customers on a busy shop floor.
