In late 2022, ECG Facilities Services were successfully awarded the contract to provide full Property Management services covering Mechanical and Electrical assets at the brand new Sunderland City Hall on behalf of managing agents, Knight Frank LLP. City Hall, the home of Sunderland City Council and a popular gathering place for neighbourhood clubs and organisations, is located in close proximity to the Keel Line – a key location for services including housing, employment, and benefits. With spaces for community events and a marketing suite to entice potential investors, City Hall provides a vital service as Sunderland’s central marketplace. At the outset of the contract, ECG established the preferred methods of communication with Knight Frank and key personnel on-site at the City Hall to ensure our visits were synchronised directly to ensure minimal disruption to the work activities undertaken within this busy public building. ECG deliver regular planned preventative maintenance visits, as well as emergency reactive call cover, to ensure all of the plant and equipment is kept operating at optimal levels throughout this brand new, modern property for many years to come.
