In late 2022, ECG Facilities Services were thrilled to be awarded the contract for the Supply of M&E PPM and Reactive Callout Services throughout Campus Living Villages' property portfolio, consisting of 15x sites in Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester and London from July 2023 for an initial period of 2 years. During the tendering process, we held extensive talks with CLV regarding our delivery, offering to align our proposals with the specific requirements of each student accommodation’s unique, individual needs.
The properties we provide maintenance to in this portfolio typically include fully-furnished apartments or dorms, on-site amenities such as gyms and study areas, as well as wider communal spaces – delivering planned preventative maintenance services to ensure all of CLV’s plant remains operational at optimal levels.
We also provide reactive maintenance for a host of systems, including all emergency lighting systems, general lighting systems, distribution boards, trace heating systems & electrical sliding gates.
Our works keep the plant, systems and buildings across the sites maintained to an extremely high standard whilst improving CLV’s systems and carrying out any required remedial works.
As with working in any live environment, it was a priority of ours to establish excellent communication channels with CLV from the outset in order to best suit the Client and their tenants. This is of the utmost importance to us as we pride ourselves on our organisational, communication and reporting skills across all levels of personnel – and great care is required to be taken whilst working within live, occupied student dormitories.
We achieve fast and efficient response times through our strong base of on-call engineers based locally across England, working in collaboration with staff from our Warrington and London Regional Offices. From the inception of the contract, our staff worked very closely with CLV’s Facilities Team on-site and implemented a very robust maintenance regime in order to ensure we achieved the high standards these properties demanded.
