ECG Facilities Services is proud to share our success at the JLL Partner Awards 2025, held on 13^th May at JLL’s Canary Wharf offices. The event brought together supply chain partners from across the UK to celebrate service excellence in Hard and Soft Services delivery.

Now in its second year, the awards are a collaborative initiative co-organised by JLL and key service partners including ECG, Wates, Integral, Skanska, Jackson Lifts and Crest Lifts. The 2025 ceremony focused on peer-based nominations, carbon-conscious event delivery and a meaningful celebration of achievement across the partnership.

🏆 ECG Winners

We were delighted to see four ECG teams and individuals recognised across the following categories:

• Support Services of the Year – Out-of-Hours On-Call Team – Sophie Barr, Gary Robertson & Paul Denholm: Nominated by internal peers for their exceptional commitment supporting over 2,000 emergency callouts per year with a 98%+ success rate. Sophie represented the team at the ceremony.
• Team of the Year – Procurement Team – Brian Mulholland, Angela Annand & Ola Augun: Recognised for their operational excellence and contribution to effective, cost-efficient service mobilisation. Ola attended on the team’s behalf.
• Outstanding Contribution – Calum McKay, Compliance Team: Awarded for unwavering dedication and performance excellence within ECG’s National Compliance function.
• ESG Award – Contract Management Team: ECG’s Contract Management Team, represented by David McInally (in full kilted glory!), was recognised for its organisation of and participation in a major charity walk, raising funds and awareness for causes close to the team’s heart.

In addition, Daniel Masson, based at Union Square, Aberdeen, was awarded Engineer of the Year, following a direct nomination from JLL’s local Facilities Manager who praised his consistent excellence on-site.

Each winner received a trophy and a personal letter from ECG’s management, alongside an £100 Amazon voucher (with team awards receiving £500), ensuring fair recognition across the board.

🌿 A Sustainable Event

Sustainability was at the heart of this year’s event planning. Working closely with JLL, Wates and Jackson Lifts, ECG supported efforts to ensure the event was as carbon-neutral as possible, including:

• Replacing printed invites with QR code RSVPs
• Eliminating single-use name badges
• Providing wildflower seed packs to guests
• Sourcing vegan-friendly catering
• Capturing guest travel data to calculate the event’s carbon footprint

A tree planting ceremony will be held later this year to offset the full impact of the event, which welcomed approximately 120 attendees.

🤝 Collaboration in Action

The ceremony was planned collaboratively across multiple partners, with event logistics (trophies, photography, venues, after-event drinks) shared evenly between organisations. Following the formal awards, guests and consultants enjoyed a reception and informal celebration nearby.
