The fifth annual fundraising Gala Dinner hosted by the Celtic FC Foundation took place on Friday 13th October in London and was attended by around 130 guests, including Celtic legends Sir Kenny Dalglish and Henrik Larsson. The event unfolded at the elegant Four Seasons Hotel in Ten Trinity Square, creating an intimate atmosphere for the attendees.

Celtic icons such as Stiliyan Petrov and Scott Brown also graced the occasion, with Chris Sutton co-hosting the event alongside sports broadcaster Shebahn Aherne, and the night even featured a surprise appearance by the legendary Sir Rod Stewart.

ECG FS generously donated a prize of a highly unique and exclusive “VIP Celtic Football Club Package” to raise money from generous bidders at the fundraiser’s auction.

This fantastic prize welcomes the winning bidder and three guests into the Walfrid Restaurant at Celtic Park for a pre-match breakfast on arrival, before taking their seats in the prestigious Directors Box for Saturday December 30th’s Scottish Premiership clash with Rangers. Half-time snacks, tea and coffee will be provided, along with a fabulous four-course meal with wine and a complimentary bar on offer following full time.

Additionally, the winning bidder and their guests will also enjoy matchday hospitality and seats in the Directors Box for a post-split fixture later in the season – with the opportunity for two children to be the official Celtic mascots on the day. Each mascot will receive a Celtic kit, get photo opportunities with their favourite stars from the team and receive a signed, framed shirt, presented by a first team player of their choice.

This outstanding prize is rounded off with the winning bidder and their guests being invited to take in a first team training session with the first team, Manager and backroom team being present, as well as enjoying an exclusive tour of the Club’s private training facility in Lennoxtown.

Our Managing Director, Stephen Hawthorne was in attendance to represent ECG Facilities Services at the Gala Dinner, where our table and donation of this fantastic prize to the auction at the event contributed an impressive £35,000 to the overall total raised, and we are absolutely delighted to have been able to help support the Celtic FC Foundation’s noble cause.

The Events and Supporter Fundraising Manager at the Celtic FC Foundation expressed their gratitude to ECG, highlighting our support in the exceptional net total of over £410k raised, which will primarily be invested in the Foundation’s Community Games projects, focusing on engaging children living in poverty during the school holidays.
