OVERVIEW

Since 2011, ECG have successfully delivered all aspects of Legionella preventative monitoring to various public buildings including schools, libraries, galleries, and museums, throughout the Greater Glasgow area on behalf of City Building Glasgow – as well as the prestigious Emirates Arena for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games. During the duration of this contract, our extensive team of Water Hygiene Risk Assessors and Water Hygiene Technicians have worked closely with the management of City Building Glasgow to achieve first-class service delivery, in conjunction with the day-to-day operation of these busy public buildings.

BACKGROUND

Glasgow City Council’s Building Services Department was reformed in 2006, leading to the creation of City Building Glasgow – who have since grown into one of the largest Scottish construction companies, operating across the city of Glasgow.

Full and comprehensive Legionella risk assessments, including schematic drawings in accordance with the ACOP L8 guidelines
Monthly, quarterly, six-monthly, and annual monitoring takes
Showerhead cleans and disinfections
CWST inspections, refurbishments, and replacements
Monthly sentinel temperature checks
Calorifier checks and maintenance
Bi-annual TMV servicing and calibration
Bacteriological and Microbiological potable water sampling
