Following a competitive tendering process, ECG were delighted to be awarded the contract for the provision of Water Hygiene Services on behalf of Glen Oaks Housing Association across the social housing association’s considerable estate of properties. Throughout the contract term, ECG have recognised the considerable benefit of providing a familiar face to the staff and tenants at each site and have endeavoured to send the same operatives to the sites – ultimately resulting in first time access being afforded to the required properties far more readily. Further to this, due to the nature of the works tasks under this contract requiring our operatives to be afforded access to tenant’s properties, it has been essential that ECG’s operatives are easily recognisable and carry all of the essential identification at all times, including clear company uniform. This has resulted in essential maintenance works to be carried out more promptly – providing mutual benefits to all parties involved.

Registered in 1991 and operating solely within the Darnley area, Glen Oaks Housing Association have experienced continuous growth to now owning 1,250 rented properties, 45 shared ownership properties and an 8 person care home throughout numerous areas within South West Glasgow. Glen Oaks Housing Association also play an important role in the communities in which they operate, being involved in a number of notable community development projects.
