In late 2022, ECG Facilities Services were successfully awarded the contract to provide MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health) Maintenance Services to the abrdn Portfolio on behalf of managing agents JLL – encompassing 26 sites based in various locations such as Manchester, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Glasgow, including the impressive One Tony Wilson Place in Manchester. Given the size, nature and variation in the premises, ECG and the Client decided the most successful delivery of this contract would be via a combination of both: •Site-based Resident Engineers; •Mobile Engineering Support. This decision has ultimately proven to be an effective way of managing this contract. Our organisation has consistently delivered an extremely high standard of building services maintenance and reactive works for JLL over the years in several similar contracts – and our high standards of workmanship and professionalism have given JLL the confidence to award this further contract to ECG.
