OVERVIEW

ECG Facilities Services are a key service provider to the National Library of Scotland – Scotland’s largest library – offering research facilities for academics, writers and post-graduate students. ECG Facilities Services were delighted to be awarded this contract to provide Hard Facilities Management Services (including Legionella Prevention Maintenance) across the Library’s entire estate – comprising of 8 sites across the Central Belt of Scotland. Our Water Hygiene Department has closely liaised with the Library’s on-site team to ensure works are carefully planned in conjunction with the Library’s quieter periods, to ensure minimal/no disruption to this very busy institution. As a result of this, some essential works have been carried out with the core hours of the Library, or clear and concise signage has been erected in and around areas of ongoing works.
