OVERVIEW
Towards the end of 2017, ECG were delighted to be awarded the Mechanical & Electrical Maintenance Services contract at The Observatory located at the heart of Manchester City Centre. ECG ensure the services required under this contract are successfully delivered through close management by the Contract Manager and Technical Manager designated to this contract, operating from our nearby Manchester Regional Office. The Technical Manager ensures our engineers are always available to attend site as required, whether to deliver planned preventative or reactive maintenance services, through close management of their pool of local engineers – linked directly to our modern CAFM system through company-issued PDAs. This high technology solution allows ECG to deliver a sterling service to The Observatory, ensuring the closest engineer with the required skillset is able to attend well within Workman’s specified response times.
BACKGROUND
With a substantial presence across the UK and Europe, Workman are a large property management and building consultancy organisation, with a diverse property portfolio. The Observatory is a 9 storey, modern office suite, located within Manchester’s bustling city centre district. Following comprehensive refurbishment works, The Observatory provides Grade A accommodation facing directly on to Cross Street.
