OVERVIEW

Following an intensive tendering process in early 2017, ECG Facilities Services were successfully awarded the contract for the provision of Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Services to the Killingworth Centre in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. ECG are responsible for maintaining a wide variety of plant and equipment at this shopping centre and, as such, the contract also includes a sizeable proportion of subcontractor involvement. To ensure this runs smoothly, this aspect is controlled by ECG’s dedicated Subcontractor Management Team based in our local Manchester Regional Office. CBRE utilise the Elogbooks CAFM system which ECG are heavily experienced in, establishing a team of Elogbooks Administrators responsible for this – clearly demonstrating our commitment to accommodating our Client’s needs. Due to the fast and effective response times, ECG have demonstrated throughout the delivery of this contract, we have become CBRE’s first point of contact for reactive calls of any nature as the client has the utmost confidence in ECG’s in-house Helpdesk facilities, attendance times and ‘first time fix’ provision.
