ECG were delighted to be awarded the nationwide portfolio for Empiric Student Properties’ considerable portfolio of premium student accommodation under the “Hello Student” brand, consisting of purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), with a contract value of circa £750,000 per annum. The portfolio comprises of 87 PBSA properties in 29 cities across the UK, ranging from Aberdeen to Falmouth, split as follows: •South – 32 student residential properties; •Midlands – 34 student residential properties; •North – 21 student residential properties. The services encompass the provision of mechanical and electrical maintenance services, including but not limited to: •M&E Maintenance; •CCTV & Access Control; •Water Hygiene Services; •Fire & Life Safety Systems. As part of this contract’s mobilisation period, our dedicated National Mobilisation Team have visited all properties encompassed within this portfolio and undertook “Asset Condition Reports”, analysing all plant and equipment within each property, rating the condition of each individual piece of plant and providing recommendations along with budget costs where our experienced team identify and plant either in urgent need of replacement or recommended for replacement as the lifespan is approaching its end.
