OVERVIEW

ECG Facilities Services were very pleased when our organisation was awarded the contract for the CWST Install and Associated Works at University Hospital Monklands in Airdrie on behalf of NHS Lanarkshire. ECG’s Projects Installation Team produced a formal programme of works which was submitted to NHS Lanarkshire for review and approval prior to any works being carried out. ECG adopted a phased approach due to the specific requirements of the hospital due to works being carried out in a ‘live’ environment with many patients and members of the public being present in this busy hospital throughout the contract term. ECG worked in close collaboration with NHS Lanarkshire’s key personnel to ensure all works were programmed at the most suitable times to ensure any disruption at University Hospital Monklands was kept to an absolute minimum. As a result of operating within this partnership approach, all works were carried out on time, within budget and to the highest professional standards – much to the delight of NHS Lanarkshire.
