OVERVIEW

ECG were successful in securing this 23 building portfolio, initially tendered by Capita, which included close liaison with Capita’s ‘Cluster’ Managers and Helpdesk. The contract initially encompassed commercial Office Space, Retail Parks and Industrial Estates – spanning from Inverness to Dumfries. During this contract, Capita introduced a new web-based statutory compliance system called ‘Riskwise’ and within a very short time we had helped them establish 100% statutory compliance within every site. ECG then took on the responsibility of updating “Riskwise” to ensure statutory compliance. Further to this, Capita also use a task raising system named ‘Concept’, which ECG also managed to incorporate integrate directly into our working practises. Additionally, due to the high quality of service provided, ECG were also awarded the M&E Maintenance contract for >70 additional properties throughout England – ranging from Darlington to Southampton. Similarly to the Scotland portfolio, these buildings range from commercial office properties to retail and industrial parks – and encompass both manned and mobile support. Recently, a considerable majority of the managing agent duties for the properties encompassed within this portfolio were transferred to Savills – who have had the confidence to retain ECG at each site due to the consistently high standards and levels of performance demonstrated throughout the duration of this contract.
