ECG Facilities Services were first invited to tender for this portfolio in 2010, which initially comprised of six sites. Since being awarded the contract which commenced in early 2011, this portfolio has grown substantially to now include a large mix of both commercial and retail properties across Scotland. ECG have offered various energy-saving initiatives to Workman during the course of the contract, for notable elements such as: •Lighting upgrades within Retail Parks; •LED lighting upgrades within Commercial Properties; •Installation of Power Factor Correction; •Installation of Variable Speed Drives. ECG have established an excellent working relationship with Workman, ensuring that site systems are maintained to the highest standards whilst delivering a sterling customer service. This commitment to delivering great customer service was recently prevalent in 2018, where extremely adverse weather conditions resulted in many services throughout the country being severely disrupted. In order to minimise this and ensure continuation of services, ECG maintained a fleet of 4x4 vehicles, allowing us to effectively respond to the requirements during what were extremely challenging conditions.
