Supporting the fight against cancer.
ECG FS were delighted to sponsor the recent Sportsman’s Dinner at the Glasgow Crowne Plaza Hotel in aid of the John Hartson Foundation (JHF) on Sunday the 20th of November.
The JHF, established by former Celtic and Arsenal football player John Hartson, aims to raise awareness of testicular cancer (the most common form of cancer amongst men aged between 15 and 45 year old), and also provides support services for cancer patients and their families across the UK through charity fund raising events.
The event itself was a great success, raising over £45,000, and featured a Q&A session with former Celtic Football Club captain and manager Neil Lennon as well as current manager Brendan Rodgers – along with entertainment provided by guest speaker John Gahagan.
Our organisation has first-hand experience of the foundation in the past, with John personally involving himself during the treatment and recovery of a company employee who was undergoing treatment at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research. This is another reason why are ECG proudly supporting the foundation, as all profits go to superb causes.
